Un nuevo proyecto fue anunciado en la Jump Square en abril de 2011. El Director será Kazuhiro
Furuhashi, de Studio DEEN, y el elenco original regresará después de nueve años (excepto Hirotaka
Suzuoki que falleció en 2006, ahora Ken Narita será la voz de Saito Hajime). El proyecto se dividirá
en dos partes y será un remake del segundo arco; el de Kioto, desde el punto de vista de Makimachi
Misao.
